I've had some experience playing around with an Arduino and a Pic microcontroller back in the day. I got this board because I wanted something that would be easier for Homekit development. The toolchain isn't too difficult to setup but I did run into some difficulty due mostly to my inexperience. It's not plug-and-play like the Arduino, but easier than the Pic. Also, the support from Globalscale was really good; they helped me a lot when I was trying to figure out how to set everything up
Great Board and Wi-Fi RF performance. Unit performed great out of the box as advertised. We bought this board to compete in a automation competition and i like the way i can remove the actual module from the board and shoehorn it into my enclosure. It seems to have an FCC modular certification as well.
