Product Description
UR125 Switch: These metal buttons are rugged and look real good while doing it! Simply drill a 12mm hole into any material and you can fit these in place, there's even a rubber gasket to keep water out of the enclosure. On the front of the button is a high flush actuator, easy to press. On the back there are 2 contacts for the button. These momentary buttons are rated up to 2A/36VDC. Momentary Switch: Momentary switches are switches which only remain in their on state as long as they’re being actuated (pressed, held, etc.). These momentary buttons are perfect for Horn Button Switch, PC Power Switch, Kill Switch or any circuit controls. Also great for electronic DIY projects. Note: *These switches come with a rubber O-ring which makes them splash resistant but they can NOT be submerged in the water. *This a SMALL switch, the diameter is 1/2". Maybe it looks smaller than your pinky fingernail. The terminals are very small, need to be very careful when soldering the wires on to them. Features: Thread depth: 12mm (1/2")Drill hole diameter: Φ12mm (1/2") Head diameter: 14mm (9/16") Depth include contacts: 19mm (3/4") Switch rating: 2A / 36V DC/AC Switch contacts: 1 NO Operation Type: Momentary Head shape: High flush Body material: Nickel plated brass Protection level: IP65, IK08 Mechanical life: > 500,000 cycles Electrical life: > 50,000 cycles Package Include: 1 X Push button switch

- Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2016Used this baby to replace the power button on my homebrew pc. It's cheaper than a new case. I could have simply drilled a new hole in the case and installed it that way. I was fortunate; The old power button was slightly larger than this one so I simple knocked out the old switch, reamed out a bit of plastic and this switch sets just inside the recess of the old power button. No accidental power issues. The switch is cheap, but it doesn't feel cheap. If it lasts any time at all, say a year or so, I'll probably purchase another rather than replace the case.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2024Color: SilverVerified PurchaseStratocaster guitars have a volume knob right where my hand goes when strumming, causing me to hit that knob and turn my volume up/down all the time - very annoying. So, I like to move that knob down a hole and put a killswitch in the place where the volume knob goes.
This little switch only requires a 12mm (about 1/2") hole, which is the typical largest size in everybody's home drillbit kit. Most of my other momentary switches need a bigger hole, and I end up filing it out to fit.
