- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2017Qunqi IIC/I2C/TWI 1602 Serial Blue Backlight LCD Module for Arduino UNO R3 MEGA2560The item works as expected. I used library LiquidCrystal_PCF8574 which is available from the Arduino library manager.
My device used i2c address 0x27. I needed to manually adjust the contrast so the text could be seen. I have included an image with the contrast adjust screw.
I ran example sketch LiquidCrystal_PCF8574_Test which was included. I did get this cryptic message on the serial display:
Dose: check for LCD
Error: 0: LCD found.
I did figure out that meant there were 0 Errors and the LCD was found.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2022I2C LCD screen would not adjust the contrast. In my trouble shooting I found that the potentiometer that controls the contrast for the display was faulty.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2017Product works as advertised. 4 Stars because there was no documentation provided in package. You have to manually find the I^2C address using a sniffer program on Arduino. Also, libraries for this took a little diigging on the internet. Overall, not bad though.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2016Works great once you figure out it's address and pin configuratioin. I have it connected to a Leonardo and a BME280 weather sensor that is outside, been running for a few days straight without issue. Used an I2c sniffer to find the address and a scanner to figure out the pins. I highly recommend using fmalpartida's library that is available here[...]
Then just make sure any program has the following.
#define I2C_ADDR 0x3F
and
LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x3F, 2, 1, 0, 4, 5, 6, 7, 3, POSITIVE);

- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2017It works, but is getting marked down due to the fact it has absolutely no documentation, and requires a fairly obscure library when used with Arduino. I would never have gotten this working without the advise of other buyers. Even a link to the documentation or the library in the product description would be sufficient and better than nothing. I'll upgrade my rating if the seller rectifies this.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2018I purchased two of these LCDs. One of them works just fine but the second one does not work! Disappointed with this product!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2017High quality screen and components. Recommend downloading an i2c scanner sketch to verify the screen address. The one i recieved was 0x3F.. I THOUGHT it was DOA, then realized that there is a contrast adjustment on the serial adapter. Also, make sure the pin config in your i2c library is correct. Pins are refrenced by the serial-parallel chips port pins starting at port0, not the physical pin on the chip. Need to open datasheet for serial-parallel chip that was used to confirm. This is doccumented online.

5.0 out of 5 stars Parfait !

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Nice, Bright, backlit, Two Wire LCD display
Display is bright and clear once you set contrast by adjusting the pot on the board with a small screwdriver. I especially like the four large mounting holes in the corners. Along with the sharp looking black bezel it will make for nice and easy installations in any enclosure.
Came well packaged and in perfect working condition. Easily accessed with arduino uno r3 board using the LiquidCrystal_PCF8574.h library available from the Arduino Library Manager. I used the default address of 0x27 in my code that was used in the examples that came with the library with no isues at all.
Amazing value, I will use this display again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reduction importante des cables
Je recommande totalement ce produit, le nombre de fils est reduit par rapport à un ecran classique. Sans parler de la facilité à l'installer
