Product Description

ATP Surethane NSF 51 polyurethane pressure tube suitable for compressed air and selected fluids and chemicals with higher working pressures while still retaining softness and flexibility. This product is a significant leap forward in tubing technology. The increased pressure rating has been achieved through advances in material technology. ATP Surethane polyurethane (PUR) shore A 98 tubing is made from the highest quality raw materials available. It is ether-based to provide excellent hydrolysis, oil and cold resistance. Surethane is strong and flexible and offers superior kink resistance compared to other tubing. It is 5 to 10 times more wear resistant and lighter in weight than any rubber hose. ATP Surethane tubing has an outside diameter made to extremely tight tolerances. It is ideal for use with push-to-connect fittings, as well as barb-type and compression fittings for simple installation.

About Us

Advanced Technology Products (ATP) established in 1990, began as a joint venture between a Japanese tubing manufacturer and an American distribution organization to provide better service to the Japanese automotive industry within the US. The original focus was the manufacture of polyurethane spiral recoil hoses and the distribution of imported Japanese trade items. Due to growth, in 1992 ATP relocated from its original location in Plain City to Milford Center, Ohio. Since then, ATP has grown to manufacture and distribute plastic tubing, hose, fittings, clamps, and other industrial accessories. ATP has also expanded its footprint with several expansions and acquisitions in Milford Center and Mechanicsburg, Ohio, as well as Lavergne, Tennessee. Advanced Technology Products has experienced steady, positive growth in the past, and will continue to expand its market share and product offerings.

    I used this tubing to replace an old vinyl pneumatic tubing (with a push button) that turns on my pool hot tub. The tubing worked well but does kink when you try to wind it in a small diameter circle. The tubing does stretch as well but that was a good thing in my case. I had to hook up a compressor to the tubing to inflate the tubing underground and get the kinks out. After doing that, the tubing is working fine with my push button - turns hot tub pump on every time I push the button.

    Great product, except the inside diameter is not 1/8” as described. It’s actually 3/32. I’ve returned the item 2 times and had been replaced 2 times by the same 3/32 id tubing. I used to order this stuff all the time, and it had the correct specs. Somewhere in the last couple months though, something changed and the product is no longer as it’s described. I’d give 5 stars if they either changed the product description, or sent me the correct item.
