    Tested this item with my Arduino and it seems to work fine! Wasn't sure if it would work with distilled water (which does not conduct electricity) but it does do so.

    My Arduino gets a clear "1" signal when the tip of this panel is immersed in water and a "0" as soon as it's removed so this should work fine for me!

    A quick test in a glass full of water gave consistent readings from 500 - 720 ish. Works perfectly fine for my uses, trip relay for pump and backup audio alarm for overflow. Did not get consistently low readings, but you may have better luck with the whole 0 - 1024.

    Sensor leads are starting to corrode.

    Did not come with ANY type of documentation.

    Came packaged in an antistatic bag which does not protect the unit's pins from getting bent.

    I don't recommend this to anyone unless you just need an on off type of situation here.

    You get what you pay for.

    It works best as an on/off sensor (ie. water is touching it or it isn’t), not for accurate level readings.

    It also corroded within 2 weeks of being constantly exposed to water in the tank I had it in. It was good for proof of concept, but for a long term automated project you will need a more robust sensor.
