- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2015Works as I expected for such a cheap price. The wheels are a bit wobbly and the instructions basically doesn't exist in any meaningful way, but there's useful Youtube videos out there. Assembled it and got it running off some code within an hour or so. Very pleased.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2016It's cheap and you get what you pay for. It came with enough screws and nuts to attach the motors and wheels but not enough to attach the battery pack. It doesn't come with instructions so I originally set it up completely wrong. That being said it works well enough and I was able to use it to drive around an avoid walls it under an hour. I would recommend this if you want a cheap robot starter kit. you will need to buy other sensors.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2016Unit does come with Chinese directions but if you are ordering this kit and can't figure out how its put together, you shouldn't be ordering this kit! Other than that, quality is actually pretty legit! Does comes with plenty of mounting hardware. As other have said, they did have to drill new holes to mount the raspberry pi 2, this is true, or just use double sided tape for this project. This kit has endless possibilities!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2015The battery pack black wire was not attached. There was not a set of holes for an Arduino uno board. Wires for motors "wicked" and the wires were very fragile and had to be replaced. I found that three point system of wheels is unstable. I went to two casters on the front. The encoder wheels are nice , but I have not used them. My robot has grown into a 11 inch square piece of 1/8 ply wood.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2015I did not receive the chassis board shown in the description. The holes do not line up with the components.
The battery box in particular does not line up with any holes. There was no assembly instructions, which may
have shown a work around. The screws for the motor mounts are too long and will have to be replaced or
washers will have to be installed (not provided). cutting them would leave a burr, making cross threading likely.
The provided screw driver is the wrong size.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2014I purchased several of these. I teach college level electronics and will use these with Arduino microprocessors to prototype autonomous robot. They are fragile but great for prototyping.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2016Having just stepped my foot into the arduino world I of course wanted to make a mobile robot. Bought a kit to learn with, then decided I was smart enough to build a robot. Bought this because I had a bunch of parts, I figured.
The chassis went together A-OK. The seller sent an email after purchase on how to assemble it, actually. It seems study and large.
But getting it together I realized I didn't have enough IR sensors for the speed encoders. What's weird is in the included instructions it says, "battery back is a gift, it does not include mounting screws." Except it does.
But... There's no where to fasten it to the board. There are so, so many holes and you can't line the two up to save your life. It's the only reason I'm docking a star because the motors work A-OK and everything.
