This works as expected. Don't run your controller off the 5V regulator that's on board as it is very low current.

I just got it in the mail and he connectors are all lose and falling off and other solder looks questionable ... Have to re-solder them back on. Also the board was not separated correctly from the others and has extra plastic still connected. Need to get quality control on that. Board may work for my needs but not sure if ill buy from this vendor again.

It would be nice if they had on board push on/off switch built on the board.. But can not complain for the money.

This H-bridge controller is pretty good. It is susceptible to tiny power spikes, a 1 uS spike over 35 volts or 100 uS @ 3 amp is enough to cause it to fail. The power rail needs to be fairly stiff, to absorb any inductive backlash. A few hundred uF cap on the Vcc power side should work OK. The load side seemed very noisy; 1 uF and 100 uF (non-polar) on the motor side helps with spikes. Some notes say the regulator jumper should be removed if the Vcc is over 12 volts. That does not seem to be necessary, if there is enough stability on the Vcc rail.

Works fine for 5V motors, have to test it on higher voltages.

This controller works just fine once you figure it out. I'm using it to make an rc car into an arduino/raspberry pi controlled car. The only reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is due to the lack of documentation or even a slip of paper to point you to a website to explain the connections to a noob like me. Otherwise, it does exactly what it should so and does it well.
