    I ordered four of these sensors for a project i am doing and i received them very quickly after ordering. I tested them as soon as i got them and i must say i was extremely surprised at their accuracy. They are recommended for 400cm-500cm max and i tested them between 200 and 400 and had absolutely no issues at all. I measured with a tape measure to verify their accuracy and they were within .5 cm. If you're looking for an ultrasonic sensor module for Arduino you can't go wrong with this one. I recommend using this Arduino library, it seems to enhance the ability of the sensor's accuracy.

    If you have an arduino, just google hc-sr04 and you'll find everything you need to know to hook this up and get it working in about 2 minutes. The 4 pin design is easier to code than the 3 pin design where the signal and return are shared. Note that it's surprisingly large, so check the dimensions to be sure it will fit your project. Range is about 1 to 100 centimeters.

    Sensor does not return accurate values. It reads either 0 or 1300 inches regardless of the actual distance. Does not work. Extremely disappointed, needed for a school project and it performed horribly. It worked for a minute, or an hour, or a few days, then suddenly stopped working for absolutely no reason. Do not purchase, find another way/product

    The sensor came with one of its...speakers? a little loose, but it did not cause any further issues, the measuring was accurate between 3 cm and 1 m (approximately) and it showed some weird jumps some times but i guess that is normal, so the device worked pretty well.
