- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2025Installed the board, updated the firmware on the Mini, and now I had Wifi capability. Easy to transfer files over to the Mini+ now via PrusaLink or PrusaConnect through Prusaslicer. Wish I'd bought one sooner, though really I don't know why the printer doesn't come with it in the first place.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2025Bought to upgrade my Prusa Mini - Works perfectly well. Drop in and upgrade your firmware.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2024Fit right in place on the Prusa Mini+. I had to bend out the case a little bit when first installing, but the pins fit right into place, and the firmware flashed immediately on reboot.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2025This was plug-and-play with my Prusa Mini 3D printer.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2024I used this for a school project and it worked well. Connecting was quick and easy as long as you have the ESP WiFi documentation handy. Would recommend to anyone trying to use WiFi in their project!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2015Very difficult to get to work with arduino though I did eventually get it to work only to find out it wouldn't do what I needed, which was downloading google calendar data directly from google, which requires ssl, and this does not support that. I'm not basing my rating on the ssl issue as I understand why it doesn't have it, but the difficulty of getting this to work was almost unbearable. I spent a lot of time on it, though I'm sure there is a lot more examples and docs out now that my make it easier. Also, I tried the built in online update command on it and it put it into an infinite loop that I have not been able to break it out of. I tried resetting it, leaving it disconnected from everything for days, everything that I can and it won't break out of the cycle. I eventually gave up and bought a replacement.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2017The product works as expected. However mine burnt down though and smoked. It might be my fault because I accidentally inserted the GND pin to the MST pin. I did a lot of firmware rewrite on this because I was having trouble doing a firmware update on another ESP8266 dev board. So this DIYmall is basically my guinea pig. I am able to update the firmware on this thing twice so I know it works and I am able to access the AT commands. I think it overheated due to my "abuse".
Cons:
* Somewhat expensive compare to other EP8266 boards. Well $6 isn't that much really but there are packages from other sellers here in Amazon that sells 4 of these for $14. So that is like $3.50 each. Almosr 50% cheaper..
* It burnt. I am still 50/50 if it's me or the unit
Pros:
* I am able to update the firmware on this thing
* Ultra solid packaging. You can tell they care about their units
By the way I like the DIYmall brand. I like their OLED displays.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2023Purchased this based on other reviews that said it works with the Prusca. Worked like a charm with no issues. Such a big difference being able to send prints to the printer without the USB! I really didn't like the USB transfer process but got used to it. Now after being spoiled with this Wifi card, I look back and really hate the USB process now! Big quality of life luxury for less than $10 shipped. Great purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product. I had a few problems for uploading ...
Good Product .
I had a few problems for uploading my program onto it for the first time .. but then google helps .
If anyone else is having a problem a problem then the GPIO pin has to be made ground then reset then release them to enter flashing mode .
And through the pins are 5 V tolerant they are meant to work with 3.3 V ,so use them at 5 V at your own risk .
And the problem which i face often . Power Issue . The Module draws a lot of current , that why best is to use external source (with common ground very important) .
