    I purchased these for cables and wires of all sized. The assortment of size is nice, of course.
    I also have purchased some cable ties from walmart and used them to compare. The cable ties from walmart are thinner plastic.

    Tekton Cable Ties are a heavy duty thick plastic (especially the large 12" ties) with a sturdy tie knot area.
    The tie know area is smaller on the 8" and 4" cable ties, just as is the thickness of the cable ties (as expected).
    The smaller 4" ties are perfect for headphones, cell phone chargers and more.

    The only con I found is the storage container. It is very low quality and cheap and I do not like it. It is a plastic cylinder with a flimsy lid that will mostly likely break during the use of 200 pieces (I already tossed it out myself).

    All in all, I would recommend these for their excellent quality. If you do not like the storage container, that's not an issue, toss them in a plastic zip lock bag.

    I decided to buy this assortment of cable ties after looking at several different options on Amazon. I liked the different colors and lengths, I liked that the set came with 200 ties, and I liked that it was relatively inexpensive (a little over $6.00 for 200 ties).

    After opening the package, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more variation in the lengths of ties. I would have liked some ties that were longer than the orange/white/black ones but a little shorter than the very long black ones. But all in all, this was a very worthwhile purchase, and this is a great deal. The ties are easy to use and are sturdy. I've used them to tie up a lot of extra cables in the house, as well as to organize cables behind my tv/surround sound system.

    Definitely worth purchasing if you need ties.

    I bought these cable ties to help manage cables. SHOCKER.

    I really like these cable ties as they are flexible and don't break when you try to use them, like some others I have used in my life. They might become more brittle as they age (just like us) but I intend to use them before we get to that point. They secure snuggly, the ends can easily be clipped off, and the assortment includes a few different colors, so the color coordinated OCD types of us can be properly organized.

    I have no disappointment in these cable ties. Except maybe the case that had its lid taped on and is a bit flimsy. But I don't think that is an issue and would rather have them cut costs there than charge me more of a more sturdy tube.

    Would recommend.

    Zip ties are as important as duct tape but these are not the best zip ties. I have had a couple break when over tightening. They are made of cheap plastic. The container is not greatest either but I didn't buy it for the container but I had to ditch the container immediately because the plastic started to crack. These are for light duty use, if using these for heavy duty use such as on the under carriage of a car, they will fail. So just keep in mind that these are more for cleaning up wires and not for when durability counts.

    I purchased this to zip-tie a few cords together in my classroom.

    Before I knew it there were literally hundreds of things I felt the need to zip-tie in my classroom. From 'zipping' the tables together so they wouldn't move around to 'zipping' a new handle onto the bathroom pass that was lost within the first week.     These cable ties are perfect for every day use around the house and shop. They are bright and easy to see. You can identify bundles at a significant distance. I use them on all of my electronic equipment that I use in the ocean.

    They are easy to cut with toenail clippers for fast installation and the pack comes with a good quantity at a great price.

    They will hold a good tension in comparison to their size. You will find many uses for them on your bicycle, snowmobile, pogo stick, and anything else that you want to keep in order or strapped down.

    Be careful when you clip the ends off and don't clip at an angle. They will scratch you if they are not cut flush or taped down. That's why I use toenail clippers to trim them flat.

    These ties work great and the variety works for me. However, storage and organization are important with anything that will be used over months and years, and here they fall short. I took the lid off carefully but it is a flimsy cap with no threads so just sits on top of the tube but falls off immediately if you tip it over. I had to put the whole kit inside of a much older and larger tube of cable ties that I have had for years.
