UBLOX Neo 6m
The device suffers from randomly ceasing to work. Even with a good view of sky, it stopped working after about 1 week, and hasn't worked since. Relocating outdoors has not helped. The onboard battery is also a problem - it needs to be charged for a couple of hours before it will lock. Up until that time, it will just report errors. I am no longer using this in my prototype.

Not safe for 5V use
Be careful using these with 5V - I got a batch with defective voltage regulators that short through after a little while and destroy the Ublox chip, permanently bricking the module. However these modules work fine using a 3.3V power supply. Except for the power supply voltage issue, these modules work great. They are clean and well packaged.

Ublox GPS Module
this GPS module is well made, with a detachable patch antenna. The interface connector pins are well marked, and has .025" pins already solder in. There are four mounting holes, making mounting easy. The GPS fired right up, and quickly found a sky full of satellites. Update was fast, and performance was good, even indoors.

Works well
The modules with the larger antennas are the ones to get, do not get the skinny passive antenna. The large ones have a 32db amplifier built in. These are working well.
