The data logging feature inside the EV3 Software is a powerful science tool for carrying out experiments.     The product itself appears to be nice. The reason for the rating is the company's refusal to provide the
    software app that was available at the time of purchase. In the meantime, Lego produced new version
    of the software (compatible with MacOs Catalina) which changed significantly the user interface (now it
    is based on Scratch and before it wasn't). According to my son (end user, age 12) the new software is very
    difficult to use and in addition in his school they use the old software.
    Lego's representative response to the request to download the old software was that the only version they
    have is posted on the web page, and she refused to even consider forwarding my request to somebody who
    may be able to help.
    I'm very disappointed that a company such as Lego would provide such a low level of support for their clients,
    in particularly for a product which is not really inexpensive.

    Esta hecho para las escuelas pero nosotros lo compramos para usarlo en casa. Tiene una caja con compartimentos para organizar las piezas que los otros conjuntos no tienen. Eso permite encontrar las piezas más rápido. Además hay una hoja incluida que explica dónde va cada pieza en la caja. También hay pegatinas con dibujos de las piezas que van a cada compartimiento para pegarlas en la caja. Hay más variedad de colores de las piezas que en los otros conjuntos y así se pueden diferenciar mas fácilmente. El conjunto tiene un programa especial que se concentra más en la educación (básicamente enseña a construir robots y a programar) que en jugar (aún así, es muy divertido). Se pueden construir robots siguiendo las instrucciones pero también se puede inventar unos nuevos. Por ejemplo, nosotros hemos inventado, construido y programado un robot que escribe (el que sale en la foto). Lo recomendamos mucho!

    Ho comprato EV3 per mio figlio 9 enne. Devo dire che all'inizio fa un po' soggezione e non è tutto immediato. Ma bisogna aver fiducia nel mondo Lego e, con la calma, si riesce a costruire tutto, con soddisfazione. Veramente eccellente approccio all'intelligenza artificiale e alla programmazione per oggetti. Si ha realmente la possibilità di costruire qualcosa di "vivo" dialogante, che vede il costruttore in posizione di reale ideatore. Per intenderci: non si tratta di giocare con uno dei tanti robottino in commercio, bensì di crearne uno che può cambiare il suo funzionamento in mille modi differenti ed assecondare la creatività. Certamente evolutivo e affascinante. Siamo solo all'inizio, ma le premesse sono notevolissime. Acquisto consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia uscire dal pre-confezionato passivo.
