Initial testing looks good
It seems like such a simple idea... you want to buy an AC adapter that puts out a certain voltage and provides up to a certain amount of current. You find one online, order it, and expect it to work as advertised and as labeled on the adapter, right? Oh and you want them as cheap as possible, of course. Well folks, the land of low priced AC adapters is filled with lowly manufacturers and sellers who want your money and will do anything to cheat you out of it, including selling you AC adapters that fail to provide anywhere near their advertised output. I have purchased these types of adapters on more than one occasion. Fortunately, these adapters are testing very well out of the box. I see someone else left a review that says theirs died after a short while. I can't say for long term reliability yet, but if I encounter anything bad I will update this review. I bought the 5 pack and all read between 12.15 and 12.21 volts without a load connected. With a 20 ohm load, which should result in a current draw of about 0.6 amp, they read between 12.06 and 12.13 volts and between 0.617 to 0.621 amp. I have attached pictures showing typical readings with and without a load connected.
