Step 1: take out the USB Dongle placed in back slot of the keyboard

Step 2:plug the USB dongle on your device’s USB Port.

Step 3:Turn on the mini wireless keyboard

A:short range,can only use in less than 3m

B:when press “a”,”aaaa....” appear

2.When blue LED stays on, it means it has been paired successfully. If it’s not on,please do as follow to pair:

Step1: Keep your PC on, and be sure the keyboard is full of power.:)

Step2:Press the “ F1” without releasing.

Step3:Power on the keyboard and release the " F1" immediately.

Step4:Plug the USB receiver on the USB port of your PC.

3. FN+F8 =enable / disable Touch Pad mouse function

FN+SPACE=Adjust cursor speed (DPI)

After 3 minutes without any operating will into sleep mode, press any key about 1s to wake up

      I've owned a previous incarnation of this and it got lost somewhere - the down side to being so usefully compact.

      This one is great. Battery life is really good and charges nice and quickly. Instant connection and function when you plug in the USB and switch it on - no setup required. Very responsive and accurate mouspad and keyboard also works great too.

      My only minor frustration is I tend to use this when binge watching a box set on Netflix/Prime stuff and it powers of if left for a while meaning when i want to click "Next episode" or "skip intro" you have to keep turning it on again. Great powersaving feature for normal use but would be nice to be able to switch that feature off temporarily. In fairness, there may be a way you can, but it is so little bother I haven't looked in to it.

      Overall, a great product and I can see many usage cases for this sort of thing, even if mine is driven out of pure laziness :)

      I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality, the feel of the keys, the size of the keys, and the low weight of the device as a whole.

      It's much easier to type on than I expected, with good tactile response in the keys. I deliberately picked this version because of the keyboard layout - some alternatives lack a shift key, have the number keys misaligned with the letters, or have punctuation keys in weird locations, but this one is very close to a standard UK layout.

      The arrow keys in the corner with a dedicated "OK" (Enter) button are also very easy to access for cases where you're navigating around but not typing. I use it to play simple games with arrow key controls.

      The touchpad was an important feature for me, in order to not need an extra mouse, and it's OK for my use but rather erratic. It wouldn't work well if precise mouse control was important to you, hence dropping one star from my rating.

      So far it has not run out of battery since first being charged, so I can't comment on battery life except to say that it's plenty long enough for my needs.

      Once I had decided to ignore the supplied instructions and to then proceed to install the keyboard myself (basically, open the back of the remote, take out the small USB device, plug this into the USB port on the Android TV box and switch on!) I have been extremely impressed. The remote is SO MUCH better than the one that came with my Android TV box, with the significant bonus that the keyboard works really well and has a pleasant, positive feel to it.
      I can now use my Android TV box properly for the first time, with instant access to menus, easy access to the mouse pointer and rapid scrolling.
      This is a great value item, made even better by the very low "today's deals" price offered by Amazon.

      I purchased the Rii i8 and the Rii X1 for use with my RetroPie (Raspberry Pi)

      They are both good devices but I prefer the X1 for a few reasons

      1) the X1 is a more traditional keyboard style and is smaller
      2) the X1 feel more solid, the i8 feels cheaper.

      The i8 stored the USB dongle under the battery cover, and has a removable and replaceable battery.
      The X1 doesn’t have an easily removable or replaceable battery, the dongle slides in the top which is neat

      The i8 is cheaper in price, and it feels cheaper too.

      Both devices perform the same, using the 2.4ghz WiFi connection. Had not problems connecting to PC or Pi.

      Both come with charging cables, and both have pass though.

      For me the X1 is the winner.

      I recently purchased an Android TV box, and there were a variety of reasons why I did this, one of those reasons was the ability to web surf, and play games. But trying to do either with a standard remote control is a nightmare, if not just completely impossible.

      So I opted to purchase this keyboard, with track pad. The controls are literally suitable for all occasions, and very responsive. There were a whole load of other functions this came in useful for after purchase, but that's another story. The prime reality is, ad it needs little instruction this product works.

      Connectivity with the TV box was easy, there is a small adapted hidden under the battery cover that you simply take out and install on your device. Beyond that there is no set up, it instantly just works.

      Whether it's emulators, typing in web addresses, coding, You name it, you can do it. The battery is chargeable, via a USB lead (supplied) and a charge takes around three hours, and lasts a really good length of time (especially if you turn it off between uses).
