First one broke after I spent a bit a bit of time putting my PCB board together.
So I tested it multiple times as I was assembling the board. It worked fine, it’s a very cute (for lack of a better term) little device. However, after I finished, I clicked it ‘on and off’ about 2-3 times. Then it stuck in the off position. I am reluctant to use the others as I don’t want to wast my time again. So, it worked, and then it didn’t. Rather disappointed.
I purchased this as a replacement part to repair a Craftsman flashlight. I was an exact replacement part and I now have a working flashlight. I am pleased that I didn’t have to trash this flashlight as it is a nice machined aluminum LED adjustable beam 2DCell light. Just $.60 to fix a $20.00 tool.
Works nicely, took it apart to examine, it's remarkably sturdy/durable inside. Works in my projects flawlessly. A great, cheap switch if you're looking for one. Only possible downside is it is really loud/clicky. I never needed a silent switch, but if you don't want a click when you use it, consider something else. Oh, also, the metal contacts break with 4-5 bends. I intentionally broke one to test it, it wasn't a problem. But be careful if you do plan on bending the contacts, plan it out carefully, you only get a few changes.
