When installing solar panels on the motorhome I needed a "combiner box" to connect the wires from multiple strings before heading down through the roof. This has an effective water tight gasket, and effective compressive over-center hasps to keep things dry.

Waterproof and perfect project box
I needed something that had a clear face and was waterproof for an outside project. This product appeared to be what I needed. So purchased it and tested it. I tested it by sealing the case and sticking it in my sink underwater for approximately 3 hours. Pulled it out of the water open the case and my little note that I stuck inside was still dry. At this point it determined it was going to be perfect for what I needed it for. The project required stuffing two pieces of electronics that would remain outside for a long duration. A small phone and a solar panel. So far everything is good. If you need a small case that is waterproof this would be the case to get. And it's reasonably priced as well.

I purchased this for a bird’s nest camera system I’m setting up. I was trying to find a small enclosure that would protect the Raspberry Pi Zero W from the elements. With the use of the camera connector, it’s a fairly snug fit lengthwise. With a micro USB cable plugged in, it’s snug on the width too. There’s ample room height-wise, so you could likely take better advantage of that space.
Anyways, I decided to run a PG9 cable gland so that I could power everything. Based on how I positioned it, I did have to shave off one of the plastic standoffs built into the case. I also had to modify the cable gland nut on the inside to make it line up with the thread of the PG9 cable gland. This is likely the largest you could go if you’re going through the side like I did.
Finally, I ran the camera ribbon cable up and screwed the lid on overtop. It’s likely no longer waterproof, but it’s water resistant enough for my needs.
My one critique of this enclosure would be that the screws that hold the top on seem a tad short. I’d prefer them be just a bit longer so that it’s easier to get them to catch on the thread below without having to push down as hard as I did on the lid.
