Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Output seems solid so far. Bit on the high end at over 5.3v, but almost no detecable variation. One thing to note is on the device itself is the word "output". That side is actually the input. The word output is referring to the selectable jumper switch that you can set to either 5v or 6v dc. Somewhat confusing. The power supply in this picture was a motorcycle's sealed lead acid 12v battery.
This was exactly what I needed to fix my drone! I have a ZMR250 drone with four Afro 12A escs with built-in BEC. One day when I went to fly, I noticed I wasn't getting power to my naze32. Still to this day I don't know what happened to them. I ordered this UBEC, plugged it into the fifth port on my naze32, along with the escs, and it powered the flight controller and receiver!
It came very quickly and has been working great for about 10 flights now. Very easy to connect.
This UBEC works great to step down the voltage from a 7.4v Li-Po pack to the 6v my RC System requires. Keeps my sailboat from catching on fire! Once it was shipped, it took 2 weeks to arrive across the Pacific Ocean. But it is worth the wait for 3.5+ hours of rechargeable sail-time!

Product arrive on time and the packaging was not damaged, but the product arrived in semi working order. Both side of the wiring appear to have poor solder wires allowing the regulator to short out. The product is not fixable due to the poor solder work either. Turnigy makes a better product that is well made. I will not be product again.
I used this for an alternative purpose, I connected 2S or 3S LiPo to my Rspberry Pi to make it mobile. I connected the 5V output direct to the +5V and GND pins on the GPIO connector to power my RasPi. Could also plug this direct into 12V Auto power to supply a steady 5V to the RPi.
Works perfectly with my 6 cell NiMH battery pack. I made the mistake of not using this the first time and burnt out the receiver. Lesson learned, this little gem works with my replacement receiver and eliminates the receiver battery pack.
The tolerance for the 5V output is a bit off. Too much off for me where it just became useless. I needed a tolerance of 0.25V on 5.0V, but had gotten one that was pushing 5.3-5.4 which was caused my electronics' to malfunction.
