I'm a FileMaker expert and I'm new to Particle Photon. I don't know what might be useful for this project yet, but with the latest version of FileMaker 16 it is possible to push FileMaker beyond just custom database software.
Using FileMaker 16 database software, we are able to send text to Particle Photon and display the information to 20x4 LCD module.
