The project involves a traffic light controlled via a web interface, as well as manual Stop and Start buttons, using Python with the Flask framework and the gpiozero library to control LEDs, buttons, a buzzer, and a servo motor connected to the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W. Users can change traffic light parameters such as Flicker Rate, Red Duration, and Green Duration. There is also an option to enable a night mode that reduce the Red Brightness and Green to save power. The activation of a blue LED indicates whether Night Mode is ON or OFF. Additionally, a servo motor simulates a barrier that lowers at the red light to indicate stopping and raises at the green light to signal that vehicles can proceed. The buzzer provides an audible alert during the green light for visually impaired individuals.
