An array of transcending RF pulser/receivers are deployed on a tarp that can be dragged across a mined field. A smartphone or laptop observes the RF echoes and controls the phasing of the pulser/receivers to provide a focussed synthetic-aperture beam to distinguish mines and unexploded ordinance.
