My project focuses on enhancing image quality in rover vision systems using AI. Driven by my interest in AI and robotics, I used the AMD KR260 Robotics Starter Kit, Vivado Design Suite, and pretrained models from the Vitis AI library. The objective was to improve the quality of images captured by the rover’s camera module. By leveraging Vivado Design Suite for development, I aimed to seamlessly integrate AI models into the KR260 kit. Although time and resource constraints limited full implementation, the project highlights the potential of AI to advance robotic vision. With more resources, deploying complex models and further enhancing the rover’s visual capabilities would be achievable.
I sincerely apologize for not being able to complete the project as planned due to limited resources and research constraints. Despite these challenges, I remain highly committed to this work and believe in its potential. I am eager to continue developing and refining the project to fully realize its objectives. I kindly request the opportunity to continue working on it, as I am confident that with additional resources and time, I can achieve the desired outcomes and contribute significantly to the field.
