Smile COVID-19 tracker - Telegram bot

Smile COVID-19 tracker is a live COVID-19 tracking Telegram bot that allows anyone that uses Telegram messenger to see and track COVID-19 status of every country in the world.

• Reporting (works only in Ethiopia)

The reason we have created Smile COVID-19 tracker Telegram bot: In many countries, companies and individuals have built Smile COVID-19 tracker software that is web-based. In Ethiopia website is not an ideal way to reach the majority. Telegram has 400 million users worldwide, and Ethiopia has the second biggest Telegram users. Thus, it is evident to us that building a COVID-19 tracker bot on Telegram is ideal for the people of Ethiopia (population +110 million). Smile COVID-19 tracker is viable and works best in countries where there are lots of Telegram users ( 400 million users worldwide):

2. Uzbekistan
3. Russia
4. Iran and more.

It has been two months since we have created the bot, and we currently (June 6, 2020) have 10, 000 daily active users without any marketing. If we won the competition, all the money that we get would be used for digital marketing and server cost that will allow us to reach millions of users. The drone price will also help us to build our new project of building a locust killing drones that will help Ethiopia and East African countries -locust plague- that is currently happening and happens frequently.

We have also created a COVID-19 tracker bot for Viber (Rakuten Viber), but since we do not have a significant amount of Viber users in Ethiopia, the bot has not gained any traction. We will post the code here and please if people use Viber in your country, use the code below by accessing the link.
