Remind Me:
A web based audio and visual reminder system. Using Microsoft Azure for database storage and media hosting.
Using a Raspberry Pi as a terminal for reminder entry, and reminder display. A user would place the Pi in a place they are sure to pass by in their daily routine. Such as a fridge, or in the bathroom. The Pi would have a display, microphone, speaker, and touch interface. A user would then use the display to view reminders that are upcoming. If an event or task is approaching it will produce audible music or tones. They would also be able to add new reminders via the pi interface. Using either text entry, preset events (such as bill paying), or recording their own voice. The Pi would then upload the task along with the relevant data into Microsoft Azure. Using a database for management of the tasks. Along with media streaming to store and retrieve the audio recordings made by the user. This ensures that reminder data is secure and easily distributed among the Pi terminals with Remind Me.
