Ideal operational amplifier has infinite open loop gain, infinite input impedance and infinite bandwidth of operation. Also it has zero output impedance and zero offset voltage. Since it has infinite input impedance there will be current through the input terminals and there will be no voltage drop at the input.
Op-Amp has two input terminals called inverting input and non-inverting input terminal. Input signal applied to the inverting input will have a phase shift when appearing at the output terminal, and the signal applied at the non-inverting terminal will have no phase shift at the output. Depending upon how the external components are connected to the Op-Amp it can perform as summer, integrator, differentiator, and amplifier.
