Orange Tart technical featuresOrange Tart uses the designated grid-type pattern on a STEAM mat to accomplish its missions set by challenge cards. The real-world topics of the challenge cards are step-by-step coding missions that lead kids on the path to becoming a coder. For example, kids can drag and drop function blocks into the coding environment and program Orange Tart to go and how to do it.

Learn-to-code curriculum book
The learning to code curriculum is a book that contains implementation guides on how to set up each challenge, hints, suggested solutions, and cross-curricular topics such as math.

Why we developed the Orange Tart set?Many parents want their children to have future careers in STEAM-related fields. However, they also want their children to learn STEAM through hands-on open-ended play. Robotic platforms are known as one of the best systems for teaching STEAM topics. Moreover, as the most popular sport globally, soccer builds leadership and teamwork skills and forges social bonds. Moreover, many STEAM-related topics such as math, physics, AI, and coding can be taught in the context of soccer. Based on these observations, Orange Tart, as the first DIY educational soccer player robot, is developed to serve these needs.
Trail production of Orange Tart setOrange Tart has been developed through simultaneous design, optimization, testing, and prototyping procedure. Every prototype has been built and validated through a rigorous testing process. We have now finished the trial production stage, where Plastic injection molding lines, PCB and PCB assembly lines, and quality control stations have been set up to assure that Orange Tart is a fun and durable robot for your kids.
We had a growing community since mid-2020 when we started our official blog and social media networks where we showcased our DIY robotic and STEAM-related projects, which have attracted makers, educators, students, hobbyists, artists, engineers, and DIYers. We have received significant support from our fans and followers that encouraged us to continue despite all challenges. We are determined to continue this trend, and we will create more possibilities for people to learn, innovate, and explore.
