Linear Voltage Regulator

If you have 9v battery but you need constant 5v power supply. Then this is the easiest way to make it.

Intro

LM7805 is linear volatge regulator that outputs +5 volts. Maximum output current is 1.2A. Input voltage can be 7-36 volts (DC).

78XX is series of positive voltage regulators. 7805 outpots +5v, 7812 ouputs +12v etc.

Circuit

Different sources suggest different capacitors. I have used C1 - 100uF and C2 -10uF. (You may Google, find out which ones are the best.)
