👋 Introduction
Welcome to our project on Hackster! Our mission is to create a software solution that makes learning typing skills fun and engaging through the use of mini-games and exercises. Our software is specially designed to help individuals with disabilities such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysorthographia, and more, to improve their typing skills and master the use of word processing tools.
👥 Who Are We?
We are a dedicated team of two:
- Cyprien: Responsible for the development of the games. Cyprien brings expertise in game development and ensures that each game is both educational and entertaining.
- Damien: Responsible for the visuals, documentation, and presentation of the software. Damien focuses on creating a user-friendly and visually appealing interface, along with comprehensive documentation to guide users through the software.
❓ Why Are We Doing This?
We believe that everyone should have access to tools that help them improve their skills and overcome challenges. Typing is a fundamental skill in today’s digital world, and we want to make learning it accessible and enjoyable for everyone, especially those with disabilities that make traditional learning methods difficult. By combining education with fun, we aim to create an inclusive environment where learning feels less like a chore and more like an adventure.
👶 For Whom?
Our software is designed for individuals who face challenges with traditional learning methods due to disabilities like dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysorthographia, and others. Additionally, this software will be a valuable resource for occupational therapists to assist children who are struggling with learning typing skills. Our goal is to provide these users with an engaging and supportive tool to help them improve their typing and word processing skills, ultimately aiding them in their academic and professional lives.
