I attend the local Renaissance Festival here in Michigan and want to create a Steampunk themed Top Hat with a camera. I found the tutorial from Adafruit - Raspberry Pi Wearable Time Lapse Camera and decided to base it off this ideas. The original tutorial was to house the boards into a 3D Printed case. But since I am putting this into a hat, the enclosure was not needed. And I do not have 3D Printer, so it worked out okay!
In the center is the PiZero to the right is the Lithium Ion Polymer Battery. On the left is the PowerBoost 500 Charger. The camera is going out the top. The white wires are connected to the LED sequin. And the black wires go to a push button that I had. The button must be pressed to halt the system when its powered down. The tutorial explains why this is needed. Other than the top hat enclosure, this follows the tutorial exactly. When the battery is low, I remove it and charge it with USB/DC/Solar Lithium Ion/Polymer Charger.

I didn't include in the write up because its not part of the original tutorial.
The top of the hat
On the top for the Hat I installed a vacuum Tube above the LED Sequin. This lights up when the system takes a picture. Also in the first photo you will see a gold circle, that is the PiCamera in that hole!
