Learning math can be boring or it can be fun. Kids like all the electronic gadget, like we do!
I find out, that the binary system is a good point...you have to add all the bits (e.g. 01101 = 1 plus 4 plus 8 = 13). A perfect resource is Computer Science Unplugged. Why not use the micro:bit to made the binary game even more fun for the kids?
How it WorksShake the micro:bit and it generates a random number, which will be shown on the 5x5 dot LED matrix, looks like this:
So kids start to calculate (in this example) 16 + 8 + 1 = 25. After pressing button A, the decimal number will be shown:
After that you can shake again and again.
