We unbox the Raspberry Pi 5 – the first full-size SBC to carry their custom silicon, the RP1 I/O controller! Available in late October, this pumped-up Pi sports a Broadcom BCM2712 processor that can run 2-3 times as fast as its predecessor, plus a PCIe 2.0 port, two four-lane MIPI transceivers for cameras and/or displays, and an RTC.
