This project is primarily about developing a GPS tracker and related tools for the Arduino and XOD.
I became interested in GPS because I was curious about how such a large-scale technology could be put to use in smaller-scale projects. It has become a technology which is taken for granted in cars, phones, etc. I wanted to see what the technologies practical limits were.
I built the prototype tracker with an microSD card reader and LCD screen for easy debugging. This allowed me to take it out with me and gather some interesting data on how well it actually performed.
