The water softener in my house is tucked away in a basement utility closet. Invariably I will forget about it, and then suddenly realized I haven't checked the salt level in the brine tank for a while. The "Salt Shouter" is a device that senses the saline level in the tank and sends notifications when salt needs to be added.
