My goal was to design the most functional Pip-Boy ever made. Please read the project log to see all the details. This is not a glorified cell phone case. All the knobs, buttons, latches, and other features actually work.
This project was also not designed to be super cheap. It was designed to be real, it uses real gauge motors, switches, and electronics.
