Midi launcher

While creating this project the idea was to attempt to make a midi controller of any type. Working with the Adafruit circuit playground express, I installed circuit python 5.1 on the board. Currently we’re in the midst of a pandemic and most hobby stores are closed making supplies limited. I walked through the adafruit tutorials, I finally was able to make the midi code function with Ableton.

I acquired a cigar box from total wine to use as the controller housing. I drilled out holes large enough for the usb cable and all of the alligator clips.

Once the holes are drilled I used needle nose pliers to pull the alligator clips through the holes.

Once all the cables were set up I clipped the alligator clips to the touch capacitors and the ground. After all the cables were set up I rolled aluminum foil to act as a conductor and wood glued them to the top of the box. After all the foil was glued I attached all the other alligator clips.
