This project is a Sun 2000 GTIL2 Inverter, Ct Current Splitter and Easy Adjuster Board. Aptly entitled GCAS (GTIL Current Adjustment Splitter).
All came about by having a single CT Clamp meandering through the house and then my adding a couple more Sun 2000 GTIL2 Inverters.
Did not fancy running additional CT Clamp cables and fiddling with resistors and pots became a pain. So knocked up a test board, which is working well, and then creating a low cost version, complete with EMC filter and finer adjustment.
The board will allow adjustment of each inverter input (balancing them)m then a overall adjustment which will allow for tinkering the Zero export.
NB. The square pads below each terminal block allows for the cable screen to be optionally soldered - thereby reducing EMC noise and easily connecting all screens together.
Supported Inverters
The GCAS will work with Sun 1000 GTIL2 Inverters and Sun 2000 GTIL2 Inverters. Plus others which are Grid Tie based and use a CT Clamp.
Other
You can also use this board on a single Sun GTIL2 Inverter for example and use the trimmer to fine tune the power settings.
Update 22nd June 2032Following interest, have ordered some boards (due in around 10 days), populated and with terminal sockets and optional 2 Pin Male Connectors and a Socket.. Will add to the website, once the website shop has migrated. If you are interested sooner, please message me.
