Project orginally published at https://www.jjrobots.com/remotely-controlled-laser-pointer/
3d Printable files at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917505
I saw this project at thingiverse and decide to print it. It might be useful for controlling Raspberry Pi HQ camera.
I print all the parts but I had some bad issues about 3d drawings.
Nema 17 step motor didn't fit it's housing. Then something went wrong with fixing other step motor. It didn't fit, too.
Then drawings are revised by my friend Mesut Ersin SONMEZ, I printed the new parts.
Motor is well fitted to housing.
Ball bearings number is 6002. Two pieces are used.
Electronic parts are Nema 17 step motors, A4988 breakout step motor drivers, Uno CNC card and Arduino UNO
A4988 has aliminium cooler. Cooler has a sticker under it. But the sticker doesn't cover all of the cooler surface. When you stick it on A4988 ship, bare cooler can touch electronic parts such as smd capacitors and may cause to short circuit.
Original 3D files has option for laser pointer holder, action camera holder. I designed a Pi HQ camera and Pi Camera V2.1 holder for this project. So I mounted this robot arm.
Arduino Uno code and revised STL files at https://github.com/fidenetgaraj/motorizedCameraTripod
Wish to be useful for ones.
