Hey, this is The Amazing Shortcut Keypad and here's the demo video:
IdeationI originally made it to help me automate tedious things like typing commands into my computer during my engineering studies. Since then, it has evolved to much more than that, with three main elements to the design.
Design- The shortcut keypad can automate anything you can do with your keyboard or mouse, all at the press of a button. It can type text, enter keyboard shortcuts, do media commands, move and click the mouse, and delay and repeat things. Best of all, it can do any of these in any possible combination.
- Graphically programmable - It is programmed through fast and intuitive drag-and-drop software. This means you can automate in seconds without having to learn very much and crucially, without any coding!
- It uses sharable automation 'recipes' which means that if you create a cool way to automate something, you can share it on a website, on a forum or by email. Even better, in just a few seconds, you can load someone else's automation onto your keypad so that you don't even have to set it up yourself.
If you like the look of this project or would like to find out more, check out the full project on Hackaday.
A like at the above link will actually help this project in a competition, which would fund me enough money to bring it to life. So, if you like it, give it a 'like' on Hackaday!
Thank you, lovely you.
Happy hacking,
Robin
