Initially I designed this board to take the data from the Avnet device but there was way too little information fourth coming from Avnet to be able to Attach a serial Output to it and stream it to a Bluetooth device or to a LTE service so I just used the Parts needed to be able to power this device and have extra battery power and charging capability .. I playing with the Brainium AVNET device I realized how basically useless it is with needing a BLE enabled Phone nearby to get the analytics off it and streaming to the Web where it needs to be.(This statement probably cost me the competition but it needed to be said.) It is also very under powered and the battery runs out very quickly as it is really small .. So, either you keep it plugged into a USB device or Use another external Power source to keep it topped up and transmitting. Which is what I designed. Above it the Produced Board from PCBWay.com .. I like using them as they produce nice boards in an array of colors
My project wasn’t totally complete as I was having issues with the portal but the following is the completed part of the power board to enable the phone and the Avnet to be powered and have extra power for communications.
To avoid using the portal as much as possible I took all the analytics off the Avnet device and sent it to IFTT..
