Pushingbox has a great API for connecting email, Mobile and Twitter to your devices like Arduino, Raspberry Pi. Your devices can send emails, post tweets and send mobile notifications. It is a great service for IOT applications for monitoring and acting on the data. Let's make our devices social.
Here are the steps for connecting Pushingbox to your devices.
- Step 1 - Go to https://www.pushingbox.com/ and sign in with google.
- Step 2 - Click on My Services to add a service.
- Step 3 - Click on Add a Service
- Step 4 - Select any Service(We have Selected email). You can also select multiple Services.
- Step 5 - Add any Name and you Email Address.
- Step 6 -Go to my Scenarios.
- Step 7 - Enter any name for your scenario and then click on add.

- Step 8 - Click on Add an Action to link a scenario to a Service.
- Step 9 - Click on add an Action with the service of the email that you configured in the previous steps.
- Step 10 - Enter the subject and the body of the email.
- Step 11 - Click on Test Scenario. You can note down the DeviceID as it will be used while interfacing with hardware.
- Step 12 - PushingBox will tell about the status of the Scenario. Open your mail to check.
