Intro:You forgot to refill your toilet paper before using the toilet for too many times now? You live with other people and the problem of running out of toilet paper and rebuying it before its too late is way too present for you?
Or you are just interested in technology, cool IoT gadgets and want some statistics about your pooping behaviour?
Our Idea:
The main feature of this product is to have a real time monitoring function which allows you to check on your Phone how much toilet paper is still on the roll.
For doing so the Kloala will be placed above your toilet paper (With different attachements) and measures the distance to the roll by using a laser distance sensor.
The app displays your actual toilet paper level, allows you to monitor your storage and order new rolls. In addition the data gets displayed in graphs giving you the best overview of your pooping behavior.
How it works:The brain of kloala is an esp8266 chip on a D1-Mini board running a losant mqtt service and communicating with the Adafruit 6018X laser distance sensor over i2c.
