Solar Digital Library Project Released Successfully

Then LeMaker Team provides 53 pcs Banana Pi to help and promote the project. In December 2014. We met Laura and Bruce in Hong Kong and talked about the project and maker movements. 

The students in Cal Poly’s Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies (LAES) 411 launched at the SPELL solar powered digital library prototype at the San Luis Obispo MakerSpace Expo on May 9, 2015. The Cal Poly Solar SPELL Team have designed the kit and trained Micronesia Peace Corps Volunteers about how to use the solar digital library on August 4 & 5, 2015. We believe that the Solar Digital Library woule be a great help on education in rural and resource-constrained area. LeMaker will continue to realize the idea of “open source, sharing, innovation, education, commonweal” .
