At the begining make sure that your clock is connected to the Arduino IoT Cloud. Follow it step by step and come back here when you're ready.
1. Add new variable
2. Give a name and select a type
3. Add second variable
4. Select "CloudColor" and name it
5. Go to "Dashboard"
6. Build Dashboard
7. Name it
8. Add first widget
9. Add Switch widget
10. Link with Backlight variable
11. Add second widget
12. Choose Color widget
13. Link with Color variable
14. Go to "Things"
15. Open it
16. Go to "Sketch"
17. Remove Code
18. Copy paste new code

19. Compile and send to clock
20. Go to "Dashboard"
Use dashboard in your web browser or use smartphone with Arduino IoT Cloud App.
