Motorcycles are less stable and less visible than cars and often have high performance capabilities. When motorcycles crash, their riders lack the protection of an enclosed vehicle, so they're more likely to be injured or killed.And less is being done about it until now .
The project mainly aims to help the drivers and act as a first response in case of accidents .In this project we plan to build a device which gives accurate data of motorcycle movement using a gyroscopic and accelerometer sensor. Sensors in NXP freedom board (frdm-k82f) detect in case of accident the data is analysed .
In this tutorial rough movements is anlysed and an led is toggled.I am working on a to send a serial signal to blutooth module which in order triggers a bluetooth signal to the paired mobile.The paired mobile device then sends a SOS signal with the GPS coordinates to nearest response unit and to your loved ones.
This can also be used in normal cars too.This device hence provides an active solution for the above problem.And it secures drivers' valuable life.
