This project is a prototype of a SmartUVBox. The purpose of the box is for sterilization using UV-C light. The box was made to be portable and has a camera for capturing what has been sterilized. A camera provides pictures of the inside of the box when closed. These pictures are sent to the Amazon cloud, AWS, for future analysis.
Camera is mounted on the lid with silver duct tape. The UV-C light is mounted inside the box.
It provides a safety mechanism for turning off the LED if someone opens the box. This is achieved by opening a circuit when the two zippers on the box are separated.
The UV-C light turns off when the zippers are separated.
The Balena fin 1.0 board is used as the brains of the box. It detects when the zippers are connected takes an image and sends it to an Amazon S3 bucket.
