The clap switch is my very first solo robotics project. My family—dad, aunts, uncles—have always had a passion for robotics, and that rubbed off on me. Inspired by them, I got my first soldering iron and decided it was time to step into the world of engineering.
Venturing out of my tiny South Bombay bubble, I discovered Lamington Road, my new favorite spot for tech gear. I walked into a charming shop called "Vegakit, " where the friendly shopkeeper recommended Project #123: the clap switch. It caught my eye right away.
I spent an entire afternoon learning to solder and putting the switch together, eager to see it in action. But, like any good project, it didn't work on the first try. I went back to the shop a couple of times, where the technician patiently guided me through the process. Finally, after much persistence, I had a working clap switch. I truly had a great time building this project and hope to build many more in the future!
