I remade a Star Wars RC X-Wing Fighter plane with modifications. I began by scaling the designs I found online down to 1/2, then used the laser to cut all of the essential pieces. I proceeded to paint the Star Wars X-wing fighter colors onto the cut pieces. I hot glued the main pieces together and the plane began to take shape. The flaps and upper and lower fuselages were added last to the body of the plane. I then salvaged the engine and battery components out of a Airhogs X-wing plane. I then fasened the battery and turbines to the wings. With the added weight of the engine components, I noticed the plane did not sit well, so I added carbon rods for more support. I began testing the plane to work out trim problems by tying it to the ceiling and trying to get it to fly in uniform circles. After working everything out I took the plane outside to give it a test fight. I was very pleased with how the plane turned out, and i think this is a great project for any makers out there.
