PurimIrisBox is a unique Mishloach Manot ("sending of portions") inspired by the Stargate TV series, in which the central motif was the IrisDoor, allowing access between different points in space. 🌠
To open the Mishloach Manot (or to reach the "treasure" 😁), there are two paths, with the first being the recommended one:
The First PathSolving a logic puzzle (a verbal solution consisting of one or more words).
"In a garden rich with history's tales, a unique flower unfurls its vibrant veils. Thirteen petals it proudly displays, together mirroring the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy, divine rays. More than a mere bloom in history's embrace, it bears a name echoing through time and space. Named for a patriarch, a beacon for a nation, symbolising a people's enduring foundation. In the darkest hour, it became a light so stark, turning night to day, sorrow to an arc of joy. What is this flower, a symbol so brave, named for the one who struggled and hope to many gave?"
Operating Instructions:
- Connect the USB cable to a mobile charger/computer/power bank.
- Wait approximately 60 seconds for it to turn on.
- LED light modes and their meanings:
1) Red: The software is in the loading stage
2) Yellow: The software is waiting for voice input
3) Green: Correct answer, box is open
When the LED light is yellow, clearly state the solution out loud. A correct answer will change the LED light to green, and the box will open. Pressing the button will close the box and switch the LED light back to yellow, indicating standby mode. When finished using it, disconnect the USB cable from the power source.
The Second Path:
Regular opening of the package - press the button - solution for the "weak"!
Main components:
- Payload body
- Base including a Raspberry Pi Zero W, microphone, and wiring
- Iris cover controlled by a servo motor
