INTRODUCTION
According to the world health organization (WHO), millions of people die due to increase in spreading of Corona - COVID 19, overweight, high cholesterol levels, etc. The important parameters are the heart rate, body temperature, amount of oxygen in the blood etc.
The IHMS is a system which includes multiple sensors & a microcontroller to monitor various vital information such as pulse rate (heart rate), oxygen levels, temperature, movement of a person and a buzzer/speaker to notify various alerts with all information/data sent to Cloud all the time, which will be used by various teams like doctors/staff to monitor the vitals. The heart rate indicates the soundness of the heart. Heart rate for adult males on an average is 70bpm and for adult females on an average is 75bpm. With the help of these values, the heart condition can be tracked. The body temperature tells the body condition. The normal [2] human body temperature is 98.6 ° F ± 0.7°F. Any variation in the values of body temperature can risk an improper human health. The amount of oxygen in the blood is calculated by the Spo2 sensor. which is a very vital parameter for human health. The normal oxygen levels in the blood varies between 75 to 100mm of mercury. The amount of oxygen below 60mm of Hg is considered as low.
PROBLEM
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an unprecedented challenge to public health, food systems and the world of work. The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic is devastating, tens of millions of people are at risk of falling into extreme poverty, while the number of undernourished people, currently estimated at nearly 690 million, could increase by up to 132 million by the end of the year. Doctors and governments are becoming helpless in monitoring some patients due to the surge in COVID-19 cases [5]. Due lack of equipment in rural places and increase in number of patients, medical professionals are unable to monitor everyone.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
An IoT based health monitoring system can help medical specialist or authorized person to monitor more patients both remotely & on-site to access right treatment at right time based on basic vital information.

Overall, this system uses IoT and wireless sensor technology for efficient health monitoring. The data from sensors is taken easily and frequently. The data is stored and can be visualized on the webserver. The system is implemented in such a way that if the sensor data exceeds the threshold values, a message is sent to the doctor. The main advantage is in case of emergency the intervention time between doctor and patient is reduced. The objective is achieved by proposing a low-cost system for saving human lives so that human lives will be comfortable. upon implementing this IoT based health monitor system, the emerging problems like lack of equipment and medical specialists at critical times (COVID-19 pandemic) can be alleviated and treatment to large number of patients will be given in the right moments.
