My project is about a mobile application that will use artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms such as Neural Machine Translation algorithms and Optical Character Recognition to capture vital signs using a smart phone camera and upload it in our database. I decide to make it after I realized the pain one goes through when you were with a friend like three weeks ago and they contract corona virus and you are taken for quarantine with them. I realized people lack the knowledge to understand and interpret vital measurements. The application will read and interpret the data for you and warns you with a red colour when it is above normal and connects you to a doctor. Example in the case of a Covid19: Everyday our temperature are measured in malls, hotels, supermarkets and various buildings and there is no database where our vital measurements are stored hence if one contracts the deadly virus he/she cannot trace when it started. In some scenarios one may be taken the vital measurements such as blood pressure but he lacks the know how to interpret the data. It will also be used to store other health related information such as the last time you were tested for corona virus or other diseases.
