NooN

What ?

This is a MIDI controller app for Sifteo cubes.

It allows sending real time controls, notes or effects to music software such as Ableton Live or Renoise.

To be as cross platform as possible, NooN uses a library called RtMidi:

www.music.mcgill.ca/~gary/rtmidi

Here is the architecture:

• Sifteo app => USB messages

• Python script => MIDI orders

• MAO software (Ableton, Renoise...)

How ?

To use it, you need the Sifteo SDK, Python and an MAO software.

Upload NooN in your Sifteo cubes and start it.

Run the python script, it will listen to the USB messages received from the cubes and convert them to MIDI orders.
